The Layer Manager tools is mainly used to add CHaMP layers to the map with the correct symbology applied. Through this the user can view different CHaMP datasets (e.g. Thalweg, DEM, Control Points, etc.) that may not normally be placed on the map from running a tool alone. In addition to this layers can be removed from the map and a user can get an idea of where they are at in the overall workflow based on what can be accessed through the Layer Manager.
The Layer Manager is accessed by clicking the CHaMP logo on the far left of the CHaMP Topo Toolbar, in the red box below. A valid Survey GDB must be opened to activate the Layer Manager button.
